Agile teaching and learning methods not only promote creativity and innovation, they also provide a motivating learning environment. In this method workshop, participants will get to know the LEGO Serious Play® (LSP) method and possible fields of application in the university and develop their own ideas for application in their own teaching practice.
The LSP method is suitable in many contexts to visualize abstract content and to go through more complex processes step by step in an action-oriented manner. Otherwise unspoken connections can be made "tangible" and the skills and ideas of all participants are equally integrated. The LSP method supports creative thinking and working processes. It can be used for a better understanding of teaching content, for problem solving or for the sustainable consolidation of knowledge.
In this workshop, participants will receive a theoretical introduction to the mindset and concept of the LSP method. The focus of the event is on practical exercises and experiences with the Lego bricks. In the practical part, we will try out the process of the method and deal with the question of where and how LSP can be integrated into teaching and made usable for students in individual and joint reflection phases.
