Employees with care responsibilities
The University of Siegen offers various options for family-friendly work organization to ensure that working with care responsibilities is a success.
In an emergency, there is often not enough time to gather important personal information and documents (e.g. powers of attorney, etc.). Therefore, take precautions and use the emergency folder of berufundfamilie Service GmbH, which we provide here
available to you here. You can fill out this emergency folder for yourself and also for relatives. This means that important information is available at a glance in an emergency. The emergency folder is barrier-free and can be edited interactively.
Employees in science (except W2 and W3 professorships), in technology and administration as well as SHKs and WHBs can use the care fund. Scholarship holders of the University of Siegen can also make use of the care fund if this is compatible with the regulations of the scholarship program.
The entire application process takes place via the Family Service Office. Certain criteria must be observed when making use of the care fund.
The grant is limited. It is also paid retroactively after care has been provided, provided that the application to be submitted in advance has been approved. The completed care certificate must be submitted as proof that care has been provided.
You will find all the necessary information in the information and implementation regulations for the care fund.
You will also need the application form and the care certificate.
