You will need the following documents for your application

1. Completed and signed application form
2. Residence permit / ID card (scan of front and back) + marriage certificate (only in case of name change)
3. Degree certificate(s) and transcript of records / list of grades and subjects (scan of the original language documents and an officially certified translation in German or English)
4. Proof of your German language skills
5. Proof of your work as a teacher (scan of the original and an officially certified translation in German or English⁾¹
6. Meaningful personal description of your work as a teacher (max. one page in German or English): e.g. What were your tasks as a teacher; what was your everyday school life like? What is important to you as a teacher?
7. Curriculum vitae in tabular form (in German)
8. Letter of motivation (max. one page in German or English): What is your personal background? Why would you like to take part in LehrkräftePLUS Siegen?

If available, please also submit the following documents:

• Evaluation of your degree(s) by the ZAB (Central Office for Foreign Education)
• Proof of further training, professional activities, internships, etc.

Application and selection procedure:

After the application phase, the applicants who can participate in the qualification program will be selected in a multi-stage selection process with the involvement of the Arnsberg district government. The maximum number of participants per program round is usually 25.
