• You are a refugee or have come to Germany from a non-European country for other reasons1⁾.
• You have a university or college degree that qualifies you to work as a teacher in your country of origin in at least one of the following subjects2⁾ Biology, chemistry, electrical engineering, English, primary school teaching, home economics, computer science, art, mechanical engineering, mathematics, music, physics, special education, sport, technology, computer engineering
• You have worked as a teacher at a school in your country of origin for at least two years.
• You have a good knowledge of German(at least level B1)
• You have good prospects of remaining in Germany with a residence permit for at least the duration of the qualification.
• You have the ability to commit to the program full-time for one year and to reach the University of Siegen on a daily basis.
• You have the possibility and willingness to travel longer distances to the internship school or the University of Siegen if necessary.
