A Short Visit from Colombia to Siegen

During their lecture tour to Seville and Münster, Dr. Mónica Zuleta-Salas and Dr. Edison Neira-Palacio from the Universidad de Antioquia in Medellín (UdeA) made a stop to visit their long-standing collaboration partner, Prof. Dr. Volker Heck. On this occasion, they not only reminisced about Dr. Zuleta-Salas’s stay in Siegen between 2015 and 2017 as part of her postdoctoral research in geography education, but also, and most importantly, outlined new project plans focused on “Extracurricular learning in high-mountain ecosystems.” A joint grant proposal is to be submitted shortly, and we look forward to continuing our successful collaboration.
