Annual exhibition Department Architecture 2025

A new chapter for the former printing house of the Siegener Zeitung newspaper: the Department of Architecture at the University of Siegen is hosting its annual exhibition from 10 to 12 October 2025 with a varied program of exhibitions, magazine presentations and lectures.

Students from the Architecture and Planning and Building in Existing Con texts courses will be presenting their projects, providing a glimpse into the future use of the Druckhaus as a lively place for design, research and exchange. A special highlight is the presentation of the new issue of Arch+ "Urban Redevelopment: Schools of Transformation" on Friday at 6:30 pm, which was co-designed by the teaching and research areas for Building Theory and Urban Design as guest editors and deals in detail with the New School of Architecture Siegen (N_AS), among others.

The department is also showing a special exhibition on the topic of "Spatial Mutations", which will be discussed with various guests at a round table on Saturday, October 11 at 4:00 pm. The AU:Lecture with Jonas Tratz (FAKT) and the keynote lecture by Swiss architect Philippe Rahm will then provide inspiration.

The exhibitions are open on Saturday from 12:00-22:00 and Sunday from 12:00-18:00. In addition, Hübbelbummler rides with the artist Viron Erol Vert will be offered on Sunday. All interested parties are cordially invited. Admission is free.
