Award for outstanding bachelor thesis goes to Felix Rammrath

Felix Rammrath was awarded the sponsorship prize of the Architecture and Civil Engineering Sponsorship Association at the Siegen Construction Day 2025 for his bachelor's thesis on the design of an industrial hall in steel construction.

The thesis, which was written at the Chair of Steel Construction and Steel Composite Construction, deals with the verifiable structural analysis of a large-scale production hall, taking into account dead, wind, snow, live and crane loads. It is exemplary for the well-founded, standards-based design of complex hall structures and the practical training in structural steel construction at the professorship.
