The Rhine-Sieg railroad line (RE 9) is currently causing considerable traffic disruption.

Due to the current considerable traffic disruption caused by the closure of the railroad line between the Rhineland and the Siegerland (RE 9) and the complete closure of the B 62 federal road in the Niederschelderhütte district, the working hours regulation for summer time will be extended until the end of September.

The extension is intended to allow those affected to react flexibly to the traffic situation.

For all employees who do not participate in flexitime, the option to postpone their fixed working hours applies accordingly.

Summer working hours at a glance

In the months of June, July and August, the start of working hours can be brought forward from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and the end of core working hours from 3:00 p.m. (Mon. - Thurs.) or 2:30 p.m. (Fri.) to 2:30 p.m. (Mon. - Thurs.) or 2:00 p.m. (Fri.), provided this does not conflict with work-related matters. This now also applies to September of this year.

The immediate supervisor must be consulted to determine whether there are any work-related issues that prevent an earlier start or end time.
