Farewell to Prof. Daniel Scholl and His Team
A Farewell with Best Wishes
On June 17, 2026, Prof. Daniel Scholl and his colleague Dr. Simon Küth bid farewell to our team during a friendly get-together.
Since September 2021, Daniel Scholl had held the professorship in Educational Science with a focus on school pedagogy at our university. He and his colleague Simon Küth had been part of our School Pedagogy Working Group ever since and greatly enriched our work. In addition, Daniel Scholl had served as director of the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research since December 2024.
Daniel Scholl accepted a position at the University of Duisburg-Essen effective April 1, 2026, and Simon Küth will also be joining him at this new institution.
We wish them both all the best in their future endeavors!
