New Double Degree Master in Vilnius and Siegen!
Curriculum
Students spend the 1st and 2nd semesters at their home university in University of Siegen or Vilnius and the 3rd and 4th semesters at the other university. The content taught in Siegen is based on the local specialization topic "Electronics Design and Technology", while the modules offered at VILNIUS TECH come from the local specialization area "Advanced Electronics Design".
Each semester consists of a combination of compulsory and elective courses and comprises a total of 30 ECTS credits. The third and fourth semesters should be completed at the same university so that the Master's project can build on the specialization of the third semester. All courses are taught in English language.
Admission requirements
The planned Master's degree programme is aimed at outstanding students (from all over the world) who have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and can demonstrate English language proficiency at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Interested students go through a selection process in which the best 3-5 students are selected each year. In the selection process, the grades of the Bachelor's degree and the performance in the first semester are taken into account.
Relation to ATHENA
The planned degree programme is an initiative of the ATHENA University Alliance, which maintains and promotes an existing partnership with VILNIUS TECH.
