Overcoming Barriers to Address Problematic Internet Use
Dr. Ana de Souza and the team at the Chair of General Psychology
As part of the British Council Springboard Program “Bridging Borders,” we were pleased to welcome Dr. Ana de Souza from the University of Hertfordshire to our campus in Siegen. The focus of her one-week research visit was on further developing joint research projects in the context of “addressing problematic internet use.” In particular, the implementation of paradigms and analyses in habit and EEG research related to problematic internet use provided valuable insights for future joint projects. In the true spirit of “Bridging Borders,” in addition to the academic collaboration, there was also plenty of time for social interaction during a city tour, a group dinner (see photo), and a guided tour of the Siegen FabLab.
