Successful year for ergonomics: award for best presentation

Thomas Reppel

A successful year 2025 for the Department of Occupational Science/Ergonomics concludes with a special highlight: Daniel Scholl has been awarded the prize for the best presentation at the 27th Young Scientists’ Symposium of the Occupational Physiology Forum. He received the 300-euro award as the best presenter among all participants (3rd from the right in the photo, together with other award winners and members of the steering committee).

As part of his doctoral project, Daniel Scholl is researching the hearing risks associated with turbulent airflow around motorcycle helmets and exploring design approaches to reducing noise emissions — a highly relevant contribution to health and safety in road traffic.
