Vice-Rectorate for Research, Infrastructure and Networking

The Vice-Rector for Research, Infrastructure and Networking promotes the strategic development of research activities at the University of Siegen. It provides impetus for future-oriented research projects, supports the expansion of scientific infrastructures and strengthens interdisciplinary exchange as well as regional, national and international networking. The aim is to create optimal conditions for excellent research and to further increase the University's visibility as a strong research institution.

DFG Liaison Lecturer

The DFG liaison officer is also available to answer questions about research funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG). He or she provides confidential advice on funding opportunities, assists with the application process and offers guidance in the DFG funding procedure.

All DFG member universities appoint a DFG liaison officer who acts as a local contact person for applicants.

Please note that the liaison officer must be informed by the applicants about the submission of DFG projects.
