Preparatory Courses for the 2026/27 Winter Semester

 

Preparatory Course in Mathematics

Target audience: All first-year students in School IV

Preparatory Course in Programming

Target audience: All first-year students in the Bachelor’s programs in Computer Science (including teacher education), Business Information Systems, Digital Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

Oct. 5–9, 2026

Linux Course

Target audience: This event is primarily aimed at first-semester students in computer science programs. Participation is especially recommended for those who have no prior experience with Linux. Other interested students are welcome to attend as long as space is available.

Target audience: All first-year physics students

  • School IV offers various preparatory courses to help students get ready for their studies.

  • The content builds on what students have learned in high school.

  • The goal is to provide the best possible preparation for the start of your studies.

  • Participation is voluntary but strongly recommended.

  • These preparatory courses significantly ease the transition from high school to college.
