Preparatory courses take place shortly before the start of the academic year in September and October. They help you refresh your basic knowledge and fill in any gaps, making it easier for you to get started with your studies. In addition to Welcome Week (ESE), they also offer you the opportunity to make your first connections with other students. 

For this reason, participation in the preparatory courses is strongly recommended, even though it is voluntary. Currently, preparatory courses at the University of Siegen are offered exclusively by Schools III and IV.

Bachelor’s

Preparatory Course in Mathematics for Economics Students

Target Audience: This course is intended for first-year Bachelor’s students in School III enrolled in the Business Administration and Business Information Systems programs.

Target audience: This course is primarily aimed at first-year students in computer science programs. Participation is especially recommended for those who have no prior experience with Linux. Other interested students are welcome to attend as long as space is available.
