Before the winter semester begins, both university-wide events and department-specific Welcome Week activities will be held. The central events welcome students from all fields of study with a range of formats designed to introduce you to campus life and provide interdisciplinary support as you start your studies. Participation in these events is voluntary.

Department-specific Welcome Week events are designed to introduce you to your degree program, including the structure of your course and guidance on selecting the right classes. These events also offer a great opportunity to meet your fellow students. To ensure you start your studies well prepared, we highly recommend participating in the Welcome Week activities organized by your department. Detailed information can be found on your faculty’s website and the teacher education program pages.
