Welcome Week for the summer semester 2026
Both central events and subject-specific Welcome Week events (ESEn) take place before the summer semester. The central events are aimed at students in all subjects. You can expect different formats where you will be welcomed to campus and receive interdisciplinary support for the start of your studies. Participation is voluntary.
The subject-specific ESEs are about introducing you to your degree program. Here you will find out, for example, how your degree program is structured and which courses you should choose. The program also includes getting to know your fellow students. To ensure that you start your studies well prepared, you should take part in the ESE in your subject(s). You can find detailed information on the pages of the Schools and on the teacher training program.
