Project description
The BRIDGELAB is a training and further education laboratory that introduces students to the practical aspects of condition monitoring of bridge structures. The aim is to teach the basics of construction and measurement technology, carry out measurement campaigns, set up systems themselves and evaluate measurement data. Based on real monitoring projects, skills in civil engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and mechanical engineering are combined. The project is developing a teaching and training concept, preparing learning content didactically and evaluating it scientifically.
Focus of the project
The BRIDGELAB project is developing an education and training laboratory for the monitoring of bridge structures. The project includes
-
imparting cross-sectional knowledge in structural monitoring, measurement technology and data evaluation,
-
the implementation of workshops, excursions and laboratory phases for practical training,
-
the construction and use of measurement systems by students,
-
the use of real monitoring projects as a basis for teaching content,
-
the development, testing and evaluation of a new teaching and training concept
