Learning and working facilities
The majority of our study and (PC) workstations in the rooms of the Main Library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) and the branch libraries are wheelchair accessible.
Workstation for the blind and visually impaired
You can use a special PC workstation for the blind and visually impaired in the Main Library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) next to the Central Information Desk, floor 0.
The workstation has the following equipment:

The workstation is available throughout the library's opening hours. For initial instruction on how to use the equipment or if you have any questions, please contact the staff at the Central Information Desk during the service hours.
Service
Upon request, individual items can be reserved for you at the library’s circulation desks. Please let us know your requests in advance by phone or email.
In addition, all staff at the University Library will be happy to help you at any time, please contact us.
Special toilets for people with disabilities can be found at all library locations.
Access to the library
There is car access to all locations of the University Library. Direct access to the buildings is secured by gates equipped with intercom systems. Please ring the bell so that the gate can be opened for you. You will find parking spaces near the building entrances, from which you can access the library barrier-free.
The entrance doors to the library open automatically or by push-button.
Elevators are available inside the libraries during opening hours.
