Building Blocks: Teaching

Good teaching is no accident—it can be shaped. The Teaching Toolkit brings together practical tools, inspiration, and support resources for modern higher education teaching. Here, instructors will find a wide range of resources to help them develop their teaching in a reflective, varied, and effective manner—from pedagogical guidance and flexible self-study options to concrete ideas for designing in-person, digital, or hybrid teaching and learning environments.

The focus is not only on methods and tools, but also on the question of how learning can be designed to be sustainable, participatory, and student-centered. Topics such as diversity-sensitive teaching, digital teaching practices, engaging students, and promoting self-directed learning are addressed in a practical manner and linked to current perspectives in higher education pedagogy.

The Teaching Toolkit is designed as an open support and development program that helps instructors try out new approaches, further develop their own teaching concepts, and respond flexibly to changes in society and higher education.
