Particify - Live Polls and Votes
Particify makes presentations interactive: Surveys, quizzes, and questions from the audience can be easily integrated into events, workshops, and classes. This actively engages participants and allows them to get involved right away—simply via smartphone or browser, whether in person, online, or in a hybrid setting.
Particify is web-based. This GDPR-compliant voting system is organized into so-called “rooms” and can be used immediately by all participants via smartphone, tablet, or laptop. All university members (staff, faculty, and students) can create polls.

Requirements for Creating Surveys
An active ZIMT account (university username and password) is required for one-time registration with Particify if you wish to create your own surveys.
No registration is required to simply participate in surveys.
What can Particify do?
- Live polls in the style of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”: Voting or comprehension polls (A|B|C|D, via emojis, or prioritization)
- Word cloud: Participants can respond with keywords. The relative frequencies are visualized as a word cloud.
- Live Q&A: A room can be moderated; participants’ comments can be reviewed before publication and, if necessary, filtered out or approved/answered. Participants can also upvote or downvote each other’s comments.
- Single- or multiple-choice questions / Yes|No questions / Open-ended questions – free-text answers / Find the number
- Likert scale ( “Agree” / “Somewhat agree” / “Somewhat disagree” …)

Good to know...
Poll rooms can be created both as a guest and by logged-in users.
Note: If you want to reuse rooms, the guest account is not suitable for saving them! Rooms created in guest mode will be deleted if
- the browser is set to delete cookies upon closing;
- private browsing mode was used when creating the room;
- the guest account has not been used for more than 180 days. After 180 days of inactivity, the guest account will also be deleted.
