Media Culture
Master of Arts (M.A.)

With a Master's degree in Media Culture, you will qualify for positions in academia, industry, editorial offices, the creative and media industries, the cultural sector, politics and their institutions and organizations that require an analytical approach to media. This includes editorial, conceptual and advisory activities in media companies as well as the analysis of digital media practices, technologies and developments. The spectrum of professional fields is correspondingly broad: Nationally and internationally as well as publicly or privately operating companies, non-governmental organizations, agencies, foundations, research and consulting agencies, administrative bodies with the special tasks of analyzing and planning media-supported structures. A Master's degree also qualifies you for a doctorate.

The student advisory service is made up of lecturers from the seminars responsible for your degree program. They can advise you on specific content and technical details of the degree program.

The Examinations Office of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities advises and supports you and your (electronic) study file with all your study and examination achievements, including your degree.
