Students about the Accounting, Audition & Taxation degree program

The unique atmosphere at Unteres Schloss particularly appealed to me.
The Master's degree program in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation offers a unique learning environment with small study groups. The lecturers have extensive practical experience, which means that the content is taught in a lively and practical way. In addition to the professional exchange, you have the opportunity to build up a valuable network in practice. This not only provides an excellent theoretical and academic education, but also opens up a wide range of opportunities for internships, working student activities or starting a career.
In terms of content, I was impressed by the wide range and flexibility of the electives. Thanks to the large selection of differently themed elective modules, I was able to tailor my studies to my individual needs and deepen my interests. This gives you the opportunity to further your education in a targeted manner and is the ideal preparation for a future career in auditing, tax consultancy, industry or science.
At the University of Siegen, I was particularly attracted by the Unteres Schloss campus with its unique atmosphere in the middle of the city. Here you have everything in one place: Lecture halls, library and canteen. There are also numerous cafés and stores within walking distance. My everyday life as a student was particularly characterized by the short distances. This led to many spontaneous contacts and meetings with fellow students over a coffee in the campus cafeteria or a glass of wine in the upper town.
"Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a comparable degree with at least 90 credit points in Business Administration" would then become "Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Business Law or a comparable degree with at least 90 credit points in Business Administration and/or Business Law".
The current examination regulations always apply.
Examination regulations/study plans/module handbooks/internship regulations
Examination regulations (POs) define the basic structures of a degree program (e.g. admission requirements and content to be studied). Students are automatically subject to the current version of a PO when they enrol for their first semester. This means that even if the PO changes during the course of study, the original version according to which you enrolled is still valid (provided this PO does not expire).
The respective study plan represents the recommended exemplary course of study in the individual subjects and is part of a PO.
Supplementary regulations and detailed information for each module to be studied can be found in the module handbooks (e.g. requirements for taking a written examination).e.g. requirements for taking a written examination or information on the content of the modules/courses, ...).
The internship regulations define the conditions under which the compulsory or optional internships must be completed.
Before the start of the lecture period, we recommend that you at least take a look at the curriculum of your degree program so that you know which modules are planned for the start of your studies.
