My research focuses on management and economics, particularly family businesses, startup ecosystems, and innovation and digital transformation processes in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Currently, I am exploring issues related to startup ecosystems, technostress, and the role of digitalization and resilience in the well-being of small business owners and members of family businesses.

Methodologically, I primarily use quantitative approaches and analyze survey and questionnaire data using statistical methods.

My research focuses on the area of “entrepreneurial ill-being.” My study examines, on the one hand, the health status of entrepreneurs at the time of founding their businesses, as well as the stages of illness and stress levels throughout the entire startup process. On the other hand, I analyze the topics of prevention, coping, and resilience in terms of their measures and strategies. To examine this interdisciplinary approach, it is necessary to integrate not only economic knowledge but also aspects from the overlapping fields of business psychology and health sciences.
