The register of hazardous substances at the University of Siegen is a system for recording and managing information on hazardous substances and their storage. It serves to ensure compliance with safety regulations and hazard prevention through transparent and structured documentation of all relevant data.
Description
The hazardous substances register, formerly known as the hazardous substances directory, is used to maintain a comprehensive list of all hazardous substances used in Schools IV at the University of Siegen. Basic guidelines for protection against fire and explosion hazards are laid down in the Hazardous Substances Ordinance.
Sciformation ELN is a multidisciplinary electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) that can cope with almost any requirement in this field - including the challenges faced by companies and large research institutes. It combines under one roof a sophisticated laboratory notebook with analytical integration, an in-house ordering system and a LIMS - so that existing information and possible synergies can be used in the best possible way.
Usage
All students and employees of the university who work with hazardous substances are obliged to use this service.
