Artificial intelligence is changing value creation, innovation and competitiveness - but which organizational capabilities (AI capabilities) are the focus of research and how is this topic developing over time and across disciplines? In this research and case study seminar, students learn how to systematically structure a current field of research and classify it based on evidence.

Contents:
The seminar uses a bibliometric approach to analyze and map the research literature on AI capabilities. Among other things, central topic clusters, influential contributions, dominant discourses and research trends will be made visible. On this basis, theoretical perspectives are compared, research gaps identified and implications for companies discussed. -
Learning objectives:
Students acquire the ability to explore a new field of research independently, methodically and critically. They learn to interpret the content of bibliometric results, draw well-founded conclusions and develop research perspectives with practical relevance.
