In this workshop, you’ll learn how cultural differences influence collaboration in the workplace, what expectations are typical in German work culture, and how to communicate confidently and successfully in international teams.

Strengthen Your Intercultural Competence for Your Studies and Career

International collaboration is now a regular part of everyday student and professional life. In this workshop, you’ll learn to better understand cultural differences, avoid misunderstandings, and specifically improve your communication skills when working in international teams. This will help you prepare optimally for your career start and for working in Germany.

Registration is required to participate. The workshop will be held in English.

What to Expect

  • Understanding work culture in Germany:
    Learn about the expectations in everyday German professional life and how collaboration, communication, and professionalism are practiced.

  • Improving Intercultural Communication:
    Get to know different communication styles and develop strategies to successfully resolve misunderstandings and conflicts.

  • Work confidently in international teams:
    Strengthen your intercultural competence and learn to communicate, present, and collaborate effectively in diverse teams.

Participation can count toward 2 points in the Soft Skills & Employability category for the Employability Pass.
