Admission to higher education for people without a general higher education entrance qualification

The University of Siegen allows applicants without a general higher education entrance qualification to study. For this purpose, each applicant must undergo an examination procedure, which is divided into the "general education" part (=German, English and mathematics) and the "subject-related aptitude" part. The first part is examined centrally at the university (please note registration deadlines! Deadline mid-July each year). Candidates for degree programs in the ETI department with a university entrance qualification and an average grade of 2.7 or better do not need to take the first part (general education). These candidates can still apply after 15.07.

As with all degree programs, enrolment is generally carried out via the Registrar's Office
of the University of Siegen.
