Maja Nielsen reads from: With Jane Goodall among the wild apes
Jane Goodall, the world's most famous primatologist, dreamed as a child of one day living in the jungle like Tarzan and getting very close to the wild animals there. And she has made this dream come true! As a young woman, she was given the opportunity to observe a group of wild chimpanzees in Tanzania's Gombe Stream National Park. She makes discoveries like no researcher before her. Hardly anyone else gets as close to our hairy relatives as she does! Jane Goodall's captivating life story and the naturalistic, atmospheric illustrations allow even primary school children to see the jungle and its inhabitants through the eyes of the young researcher. An exciting children's non-fiction book for all animal enthusiasts!
