Scholarship for international exchange students
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities offers partial scholarships for international exchange students every year.
Current application periods and deadlines
- 15.04. to 01.05. for a stay in the winter semester (October to February) Application deadline extended until June 15, 2025
- 15.10. to 01.11. for a stay in the summer semester (April to July)
Our goals
Recipients of the partial scholarships are given the opportunity as part of a student exchange to
- expand their own studies,
- enter into international and interdisciplinary dialog,
- gain insight into other academic and teaching departments.
Who can receive a partial scholarship?
- B.A. and M.A. students from selected partner universities of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, as well as doctoral students for the purpose of study abroad (provided that suitable courses are available in the Faculty's Master's degree programs).
- "Freemovers" from universities without partner status, with a nomination by a lecturer of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities
How long is the partial scholarship paid for?
The partial scholarship is paid for the duration of the lecture period of a semester. This corresponds to 4-5 months; either October to January/February or April to July. The exact period depends on the respective lecture period and the date of the last examination.
How much is the partial scholarship?
500€ per month for the duration of the stay (4-5 months, maximum total of 2500€).

- Submit your application and other documents to the International Affairs Office (Dr. Pacas).
