Book presentation as part of the seminar 'Bestiary of Literature'
As part of the Bestiary of Literature seminar led by Prof. Dr. Cornelia Wild, the book launch of the book Cara Elsa, published by Wagenbach-Verlag, took place on November 29, 2025. Letters by and to Elsa Morante with the translators Maja Pflug and Klaudia Ruschkowski took place.
"I hadn't actually expected that we would get such a detailed insight into the lives of the translators. It was particularly interesting for me, as I study foreign languages myself - albeit as a teacher - and therefore had the opportunity to take a closer look at one of the many facets of language and language skills."
