European Law in Georgia

In April 2021, Prof. Rösler once again collaborated with the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).


He had already spoken about European media law in Tbilisi in November 2019. Due to the pandemic, the presentations to the Georgian Ministry of Justice now had to take place via Zoom. On February 10, 11, and 12, 2021, Prof. Rösler provided a detailed introduction to EU law, with a particular focus on internal market law. He also emphasized the importance of regional cooperation, particularly the role of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) between the EU and Georgia.
