Prof. Rösler is seeking a research associate (E 13 TV-L, 50%) for an initial term of three years, with the opportunity to pursue a doctorate.


Prof. Rösler is seeking, for the Chair of Civil Law, Private International Law, and Comparative Law, a research associate (Pay Grade 13, TV-L) working half the regular workweek (50%) for an initial term of three years, with the possibility of extension. The position offers an international scope of work and a positive work environment. The position may also be held without residing in Siegen, provided that commuting ensures the necessary on-site presence. This is a position intended for further academic qualification (doctorate in law, Dr. iur.).

Qualifications:

  • An above-average score on the first state law examination or an above-average degree (Diplom, Master’s) in business law;
  • In-depth knowledge of private international law or comparative law;
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills;
  • Willingness to pursue a doctoral degree.
