Three working groups, many presentations with a lively exchange and an interesting supporting program contributed to a successful colloquium for three days at Burg Stahleck in Bacharach on the Rhine.

Exchange on the latest research results

Members of the inorganic chemistry working groups led by Florian Kraus from Marburg, Claudia Wickleder from Siegen, Mathias S. Wickleder from Cologne and Jörn Bruns from Berlin met at Burg Stahleck in Bacharach for a joint inorganic colloquium.

In the numerous lectures, the latest results on, in part, very sophisticated syntheses were presented. The latest advances in luminescent materials in connection with f-elements, sulphate chemistry and (pseudo-)halide systems were discussed in a lively exchange.

An interesting social program rounded off the days at the youth hostel.
