Students from the Department of Architecture on the “Stuttgarter Radionauten” podcast
In the podcast, the three students share their own experiences with this transformation process. They discuss how teaching, research, and practice interact at the New School of Architecture and what role collaborative formats—such as the design of the new passageway at the Fusion Lab—play in their joint work. It becomes clear that the development of the New School of Architecture is not viewed as a finished concept, but rather as an open-ended process in which students are actively involved and collaborate across semesters to, for example, create new spaces for interaction.
The exhibition at the Galerie im Weissenhof in Stuttgart brings this process to light. On display are fragments of plans, projects, and situations that document the current state of an architecture school in transition while also looking toward its future development.
