Teacher training courses Bachelor/Master
The teaching subject History is offered for the teaching degree at Hauptschule, Realschule, Sekundarschule and Gesamtschule as well as for the teaching degree at Gymnasium and Gesamtschule.

The Bachelor's degree program in History
The Bachelor of Arts degree course in History at the University of Siegen is aimed at students who wish to study History but are not aiming for a teaching qualification. The BA course primarily teaches basic historical knowledge in all eras. The course content is geared towards the professional fields of future historians.

The Master's degree course in Modern History
The Master's degree course in Modern History can be studied as a single-subject Master's degree course and also as a core subject (in combination with a supplementary subject). The degree qualifies students for a doctorate.

Master's degree courses with the participation of the History department
History is offered as a supplementary subject in the Master's degree program at the University of Siegen. The two interdisciplinary and international degree courses "Culture, History, Society" (KGG for short) and "Roads to Democracy(ies)" are available for a historical focus in the Master's degree.
