Online office hour registration at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

Employees of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities can use an online tool to manage their office hours. Students can use this tool to register for pre-defined office hours via a link on their employee website and also cancel them (up to a pre-defined deadline).

Note for students

You can find the registration links for a person's office hours on their personal website. There is no central overview and not all teachers use the system.

Information for teachers

If you are interested in this service, please contact Kai Hilpisch(hilpisch@phil.uni-siegen.de).

The service works via web browsers on desktop computers as well as smartphones. You can also print out a sign with a scannable QR code to hang on your office door.

Using a self-explanatory administration interface, you can create and manage appointments at any interval as individual and weekly appointments (including appointment allocation, table template, deputy function...).

Note for other Schools/institutions and external institutions

This installation of the "Online consultation hours registration" is only available to employees of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. However, you can provide your own installation for your institution. Kai Hilpisch will be happy to provide you with the necessary source code and installation instructions on request.
