Procedure for internship/practical phases

Inform!

Find an internship
In the course of the 1st semester:
- Decide on a field of work or sub-area
- Job search via own research or job directory of the practice office/department
- Contacting the placement office

Plan your internship time
Flexible organization within the framework specifications:
- Recommendation: lecture-free period between 2nd and 3rd semester
- Possibility to bring forward 20 practical days during the lecture-free period in winter semester 1
- Completion of the internship at the end of the reflection seminar in the winter semester (3rd semester)

Register / get approval for internship
- No registration in unisono, but via the mandatory internship form
- Fill out form pages 1+2 with internship office
- Obtain written approval (depending on the start of the internship from the internship office/department or teaching methods seminars)

Attend accompanying events
Module Practical Phase I
- 11.1 Interdisciplinary theory lecture (summer semester, 2nd semester)
- 11.2 Specific method seminars (summer semester, 2nd semester)
- 11.3 Reflection seminar (winter semester, 3rd semester)

Please note!
- Proof of participation in 11.1 and 11.2 is a prerequisite for later crediting of internship
- At least 25 practical days must have been completed before the reflection seminar in winter semester
- End of the internship at the end of the reflection seminar

After the internship
- Submission of the original form(all 4 pages) to the practice office/department
- Examination and booking by practice office

Second internship
- Decision for another field of work/subfield in the course of the 3rd semester.
- Further procedure as for the first internship
- However, examination in 12.3 Topic-specific reflection
