GHz-XPCS

GHz-XPCS is funded by the BMFTR and carried out in collaboration between the University of Siegen and DESY.

The project is developing synchronized twin-pulse XPCS experiments at the European XFEL with adjustable delays as short as 0.77 ns, extending coherent X-ray spectroscopy into the GHz range to study ultrafast nanoscale dynamics in soft and hard condensed matter systems.
