Quality objectives "Studies and teaching"
The School of Science and Technology IV has formulated specific quality objectives derived from the quality objectives of the University of Siegen. The aim is to continuously develop "studying and teaching" and to ensure the high level of quality in academic teaching.

The content, requirements, form, scope and sequence of the courses correspond to the usual standard for the subject.

Each course offered can be completed with a reasonable amount of work in the recommended time.

Full-time professors of the Schools are responsible for the courses central to a degree program. Responsibility is actively assumed for content, requirements and organization.
The times of central courses are basically constant and are determined by comprehensible priorities.
The range of electives is appropriate for the subject and provides orientation in the available research directions for final theses.
The equipment, organization and supervision of the courses correspond to the subject-specific and didactic requirements.
Content-related courses are coordinated by the lecturers.
Requirements, conditions and structure of the study and examination achievements are clearly communicated.
Appropriate measures are in place to provide advice and support for both weaker and stronger students.
International students receive targeted support.
Targeted further development of teaching through:
- continuous professionalization of teaching staff,
- didactically innovative forms of teaching and learning,
- modern, technical infrastructure to support teaching.
International exchange of students and appropriate supervision.
Support for disadvantaged students, also taking into account the duration of their studies.
