Program
For the opening of the INCYTE research building on April 27, 2026, the University of Siegen is looking forward to the visit and greeting of Minister Ina Brandes MdL (Minister of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia).
In addition to greetings from Rector Prof. Dr. Stefanie Reese, Chancellor Iris Litty and Anke Richter (BLB NRW), Prof. Dr. Patrick Scheele (TU Berlin and scientific director of the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut) will give a speech. Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik) will give the keynote speech on the future of microelectronics.
Prof. Dr. Peter Haring Bolívar will host the program.
The ceremony will be followed by a get-together and flying buffet in the foyer. The university also offers guided tours of the INCYTE building for all guests.
