Application Deadlines
For all other Bachelor's degree programmes, applications for the assessment of your higher education entrance qualification may be submitted until the end of August for the following winter semester and until the end of February for the following summer semester.
We strongly recommend submitting your application as early as possible once you have obtained your school-leaving certificate, proof of German language proficiency and, where applicable, additional qualifications such as TestAS or a university entrance examination from your home country.
Applications for all other Master's degree programs require an assessment of the relevant academic and language requirements.
The application periods for each programme are listed in the program catalogue.
Please note that application deadlines for English-taught Master's degree programs and for applicants who are not nationals of an EU Member State are often 30 April or earlier for the following winter semester and 31 October for the following summer semester, due to visa processing requirements.
We strongly recommend submitting your application as early as possible once you have obtained your degree certificate and proof of German or English language proficiency.
Applications for admission to doctoral studies may be submitted to the relevant Faculty Doctoral Committee at any time.
Please note that Doctoral Committees meet at irregular intervals.
Enrolment for doctoral studies is possible from July to the end of October for the winter semester and from January to the end of April for the summer semester.
