Students in grades 10 - 13, maximum number of groups: 5 participants, maximum 2 groups per school. Admission is determined by the order in which applications are received. The students named in the application are binding and cannot be exchanged for other participants at a later date.
The winners
will be determined by a jury from the Department of Civil Engineering. A test device from the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Hydromechanics will be used to determine the load-bearing capacity on the day of the decision: An extendable hydraulic cylinder is used to determine the maximum load capacity of the quay. To do this, the crane hook is pulled until the crane collapses. The winner is the group that achieves the highest total number of points. All participants are welcome.
Obligation of the teachers
Supervision of the project, adherence to the competition rules, timely completion and submission of the crane, adherence to deadlines.
Each participant will receive a certificate and a non-cash prize. >

- Prize: Cash prize in the amount of 100 €
- Prize: Cash prize in the amount of 50 €

Legal recourse is excluded in all phases of the competition
