Founding a student initiative
Articles of Association
First of all, prepare a constitution for your student initiative. This must regulate the following areas:
- Purpose of the initiative
- membership
- Presidium
- General Assembly
- Financial officer
- Cash audit
Membership must be open to all students.
The financial officer and cash audit must be regulated if the initiative wishes to receive funds from the student body.
Constituent General Meeting
Invite the university public to a constituent plenary assembly with a provisional agenda and send this invitation to the presidium of the student parliament.
At the plenary meeting, the statutes must be adopted and the positions filled by secret ballot.
Minutes must be taken of the meeting, recording at least the resolutions and election results.
AFsK
Next, the AFsK (Autonome Fachschaften-Koordination) must make a recommendation for recognition of the initiative to the student parliament. To do this, send the minutes of the plenary meeting and your adopted statutes to the AFsK distribution list(afsk-siegen@listserv.dfn.de) with the request to include the recognition as an agenda item.
Be present at the next AFsK meeting to be able to answer questions.
Student Parliament
Now send an application for recognition to the student parliament. This must include the statutes, the minutes of the general assembly and the minutes/resolution of the AFsK.
Be present at the next student parliament to be able to answer any questions.
