Master of Arts (M.A.)

Due to the possibilities for individual specializations and combinations of subjects, the study program qualifies students directly for a wide range of activities in science, business and society, particularly in the following professional fields: Public relations and cultural work at international and national, public and private institutions, e.g. private sector consulting agencies, political parties and associations, museums, libraries and archives, institutes for applied social research and education, press, broadcasting and publishing institutions, institutions in the IT sector. The Master's degree also qualifies you for a doctorate.

phil: Student counseling

The phil: Student Advisory Service is the first point of contact in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities for all questions regarding the course of studies, the organization of your studies, the preparation of your timetable and all other study-related topics.

The student advisory service for academic questions is made up of lecturers from the seminars responsible for your degree program. They can advise you on specific content and technical details of the degree program.

The Examinations Office of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities advises and supports you and your (electronic) study file with all your study and examination achievements, including your degree.
