The Digital Biomedical and Health Sciences degree course focuses on modern aspects of a digitalized and sustainable healthcare system. Depending on the focus, the areas of biomedical technologies and digital healthcare play a central role. The degree program combines the interdisciplinary fields of (bio)medicine, technology and health economics and sociology. Students have the opportunity to acquire a wide range of medical-related knowledge in individually supervised seminars, lectures and practical exercises so that they can later work as experts in a variety of professions.

Depending on their specialization (Biomedical Technology or Digital Public Health), graduates of the DBHS degree program find employment opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, insurance companies, healthcare associations, companies in the healthcare industry, in workplace health promotion or public institutions such as health authorities in municipalities.
