Students about the Christian Theology program

Study theology? In Siegen? Of course!

The location close to home and the newly launched Master's degree program: Christian Theologies in Ecumenical Perspective. These are just two of many other points that tipped the scales in my favor when I decided to study theology in Siegen.
The campuses range from historical to ultra-modern. That's what makes the University of Siegen so charming for me.
There's also another point. In my opinion, this should not be underestimated:
Unlike at many other universities, the professors and teaching staff are not only interested in the latest research and its communication. In Siegen, they are also approachable after the lecture. Not only as people of intellectual respect, but also as people. As a student here, you are not just a number among many. You are seen.
You know each other. You meet each other. You greet each other.
In my opinion, this is where the bridge is built between pure knowledge transfer and humanity. The Faculty of Philosophy manages this balancing act very well across disciplines and denominations.
In the Master's in CTiöP, students have the opportunity to select and take courses from both the Protestant and Catholic denominations.
Looking beyond one's own horizons not only opens up new horizons of knowledge, but also significantly expands the possibilities for later employment.
From my point of view, I can give a clear recommendation for the degree program at Faculty I in Siegen. Knowledge transfer close to the times. Close to people.

In addition, the Subject Examination Regulations of the individual (partial) degree programs (FPOs) define the basic structures of a (partial) degree program (e.g. admission requirements and content to be studied). The subject examination regulations are accompanied by study course plans, which represent the recommended exemplary course of study in the individual subjects, as well as module descriptions (content-related information on modules).
