The Chancellor

Iris Litty has been Chancellor of the University of Siegen since October 1, 2025. 

The Chancellor heads the university administration, represents the Rector in legal and administrative matters, and is a permanent member of the university’s Rectorate. She serves as the budget officer and represents the university’s interests in the planning and execution of construction projects.
