Content:

This multi-part workshop focuses on your specific course.
In the combination of attendance phases, self-study time and peer observation, you will work specifically on the planning, design and further development of your specific course. You will reflect on your
understanding of your role as a teacher, formulate competence-oriented learning objectives and develop suitable teaching and learning methods.
Decide for yourself whether you would like to work on your course in its entirety or on individual central phases in greater depth.
Particular emphasis is placed on approaches that can be used across disciplines and that can be flexibly adapted to different subject cultures. The supporting use of digital tools as well as the opportunities and challenges of generative AI are didactically reflected upon and meaningfully integrated.

In the basic workshop, you will acquire and deepen your skills in order to

- design teaching in a competence-oriented way from the perspective of students and learning
- consciously recognize factors that promote and hinder learning
- systematically reflect on and further develop your own teaching
- select and apply activating and participatory methods
- identify challenges in everyday university teaching and develop solution-oriented strategies
- use consultations, simulations and job shadowing as instruments for professional development

In addition, you will learn about the university's didactic support and qualification offers and can use these specifically for your further teaching development.
