About the Lecture
Digital images, videos, and memes are becoming increasingly important for political communication and participation. Not only international figures such as Donald Trump, but also local political influencers and civil society protest movements are using new formats of generative artificial intelligence to shape debates and attract attention.
In her lecture, Prof. Dr. Nicole Milman-Dörr examines the role that AI-generated visual content plays in polarized public discourses and how political education can address the resulting challenges.
Her lecture is titled:
