From the rough version to submission: strategies for revising my text

In a first step, we will take a closer look at the phases of the writing process in which revising can occur in various forms.

In a second step, we will gain an overview of four different levels for which revision plays a role: Content, structure, language/style and formal. In an intensive work phase, you can - depending on the status of your writing project - use exercises to either develop a revision plan for your text, revise the structure of your text or revise language and style or the integration of sources in your own text.

In the third and final part of our workshop, we will discuss other helpful resources for the various revision phases in the writing process, e.g. feedback, digital tools or time factors to consider.
